Hemifever supports custom tunes for the 96 PCM. 365.00 USD... not sure what that would translate to in Canadian dollars. Give him a call, or drop him a PM.

$365 U.S. is about $357.40 Canadian, but there may extra fees for shipping it across the border.

I wasn't aware that the CAD is stronger than the US dollar now?

You know. Ive got to be honest. Im wanting to build my engine soon but didnt realize how hard it is to get a 318 to be a power house. Tourqe is easier but HP seems a bit harder. When i got a 500 gas hp proof tranny build my engine had way more useable power especially lower. But now it hits way rpm's before shifting and I swear the only darn thing the mopar pcm does for me is take out the rev limiter. I think tha trans is way too powerful for my 318 with just outer boltons. I was thinking a mild perfcam, aluminum heads maybe with larger ports, hs NA 1.7 RR's and an mi intake manifold. But after seein all of this I have no idea. I have alot more room for power in the engine now that my trans is pretty bulletproof.

Where would I start looking into a turbo? And wouldnt people who want power over economy realize that you can sorda cheat power with steeper gearing like 3.92 gears. Ive heard acceleration in every gear was far more swift than in 3.55 like mine. I swear that thats gotta be a big factor holding me back in 0 - 60 times and all around performance. And i dont tow nor do I drag but i love speed. I just dont have much experience and theres a lot of crap and forums to look through out there lol.

You can make as much power as your wallet will let you. What kind of price range you got?

I would spend 2500 to 3000 on parts. Personally Id like to include 3.92's with that range. im thinkin heads, cam, pistons, fuel pump, injectors, roller rockers, and intake manifold. But seems id have to make pockets a little deeper.

Here is a cool article that shows how you can get a nice 400 crank horsepower out of a 318, without going extreme (and relatively easy on the wallet). In my opinion, it would be better money spent on buying new heads that already flow better, but you get the idea.

They talk about how efficient of a motor it can be, etc.... good read for sure...

That article explains exactly what's wrong with the Magnum, Flow and Compression. Replace the Heads, exhaust and Cam or 1.7RRs and these things come to life! Add a tune for good measure and these are beautifully running trucks.
