a/c not working

So first thing I did is check the horn fuse and sure enough it was blown replaced it went to desconect the horns and there was after market air horns imsttalled so desconnected those and walla ac clutch is turning thanks never would have thought of the horn fuse

yea thats the third time this has happened in the last month... I guess its falls in their with the plenum and dash.haha

I knew my horn didn't work but had NO clue it was tied into the AC. I just read this thread, and went out at 11:30 at night to swap out that fuse to see if it worked. YES YES YES it did!!! Were in a heat wave at the moment I finally have AC, thanks.

Well this is one of the three you mentioned, and I already fixed the plenum gasket with a Huges kit. What do I need to worry about with the dash?

Dodge dashes are notorious for cracking, and then disintegrating...... if it hasn't started yet, don't worry about it overmuch.

huh, learn something everyday..
never knew horn shorting out was a common problem, much less it was tied to a/c compressor clutch...
