Well after replacing the sensor and the pigtail, my light is still on. Went off for a drive, slightly frustrated, got her up to some speed and slammed the brakes......

I have no abs...........!

Where or what would cause no abs............?

The fuse is ok, checked all the wiring and connections, all seems ok.

Next step seems to be is to replace the control module under the dash?

I do have a decent OBD2 code reader but it didn't pick up a code (maybe I should actually read the manual, lol)

If the ABS light is on, that means it thinks there is a problem, and disables itself. So, no ABS function.

There may be a fuse in the PDC, but, I don't know if yanking it would give you a lite, or turn it off.......

Standard code reader won't see ABS codes. You are going to need a more expensive tool than that. It might not be a bad idea to pay a half hour labor at some shop for them to plug in a scanner, to read ABS codes. Might end up being cheaper than throwing parts at it.

If you got pulsation it sounds like you got air in your lines and need to bleed em. But as far as the lights i also have the same problem with my 98 dakota r/t, been tryin to figure the problem out for months. It sounds like dodge used a cheap abs system on the second gen rams, dakotas, durangos, and probley anything else from that time period.

Replaced the rear shoes and 1 cylinder that had a slight, slight leak. Bled the brakes and still have the lights. Like Hey You says, I'm gonna have to take it in and get the code read, go from there.......

my abs and airbag light came on earlier about 3 mins after I started my truck, also noticed my odometer was flashing.

turned the truck off, then restarted and they never came back on.

what could that mean? just a little system hick-up? just thought it was weird cause it has never happened before.
