Where exactly did you find it? Was it in the diff, fall out, or was it just chillin on the ground?

They are kinda square, but... the top is round to fit on the tabs on the clutch packs. How big is the piece in question?

its a clutch pack retaining clip out of your lsd, they are square with a little tab on each side, looks like you still have two pieces of metal floating around some where in your rear diff.

there was a thread not too long ago that touched on this exact subject, use the search feature

Nope, couldnt have it apart for too long. Probably wont have a chance to work on it again till this Sunday.

that's what my track-lok retaining clips looked like if memory serves. would be nice to have something like a penny in the photo for scale. but I'm betting lsd clutch retaining clip.
