Default Quick Question

I recently diagnosed my 3.9 1500 as having the timing chain slack issue they are known for. I used a mechanics stethescope to verify it is coming from the timing cover. Just to be thourough, I would like to hook up a manual oil pressure gauge (temporary) to see what kind of oil pressure i'm getting. Are there any other places on the block to check for oil pressure than where the sending unit threads in back by the dizzy? I just changed out that sending unit recently when I did the plenum repair, and I don't want to break it trying to get it out again.

OK, thanks for the response. Its kind of unusual that there isn't any other unused ports on the block though. I checked the Haynes and Alldata and couldn't locate one either. I don't suspect I have an oiling problem, just figured i'd check it anyways.

Might wanna take a peek around the engine though anyway..... I know the GM blocks had a pressure port right above the filter mounting area, that was used for a while, and then not used...... but, the port was still there, just had a pipe plug in it.
