Another ac question
well i recharged my ac the other day and now it blowing out 40* air in 100* weather!
one thing i noticed is it sounds like i have a mouse exercise wheel in the "black box" under my glovebox at all fan speeds, also if i shut the truck off with the ac on and restart it the fan wont blow air till you hit/kick the "black box" !
also replaced the check valve next to the intake manifold with one out of a universal vac line kit, i still have wacky vents!
is that black box the blower motor?
are they a pita to replace?
and should i get the check valve T from the dealership?

Yep. Blower motor is in there. It's either going to be something in there, as mentioned above, a failing blower motor, or, a failing resistor block. If you have to kick the box to get the fan going on any speed setting, probably time for a new blower motor.
I pulled mine last weekend in just a couple hours, wasn't bad at all. If you remove it completely you'll have to evacuate and recharge your a/c though....
There's a really good DIY with pics on the heater core that will walk you through the removal.

I dont think you have to pull it out though man, I would just drop the blower motor and stick a shop vac up in the box or just sweep it with my hand.
