Default 1996 Dodge Ram, 2nd Question

Separate issue, same vehicle, unrelated. For some time now the indicator lights in the dash and the blower motor won't work unless the steering wheel is in the upper most position. Scratching my head on this one.

Pull the covers off the steering column, and check the wiring to the multi-function switch. (wipers/turn signals) They tend to get pulled out. No idea why that would affect the blower though.....

with the covers off the column, and the BATTERY DISCONNECTED, you'll see a huge wad of wires at the tilt wheel pivot point. pick them apart and look for a break or short.

for the blower, check all fuses, then check for power at the blower motor resistor, and then check the resistor itself.
