Default 2000 1500 ram with a strange problem

My step dad's 2000 1500 ram 360 automatic tranni has a really strange problem that no one can figure out. The truck has almost 300,000 (100 miles away) the transmission was changes at 220,00. The fuel pump was changes at almost 200,000. About a year ago when ever the truck would get to 1/4 tank of gas it would start jumping and wanting to stall out. Now it's starts doing it at 1/2 tank. As soon as he puts gas in it comes right out of it. The fuel pump has been tested it's fine the baffles on the tank are fine. does anyone out there have any ideas???
Thanks
Adam

The gas gauge is lying to you about how much gas is left?

Possible blockage in the filter?

Loose fitting somewhere in the tank?

Gas gauge seems to be right on we had the bed off the truck and at 1/4 and half tank readings it was about at 1/4-1/2 tank. So I doubt that's it Plus it's a 35 gal tank and at half tank it's only takes 15-16 gal of gas.
The gas tanks looks new no sand or crap inside of it.

I doubt it.....but if it was water or something in the tank I think after almost 2 years is should be gone or at least VERY diluted.
