The 94-95 Dodge Ram LD 2500 has a Chrysler 9.25 in the back with 8 lug axle shafts. Would they be the same length and width as the shafts in my 01 Dodge ram 1500 with a 9.25 in the back with 5 lug axles? Im throwing a Dana 60 in the Front and would like to have 8 lugs in the back too. Any help would be great!
Is there any spec page out there that shows the dimensions of the most common axles.? So if they are the same length i will just need new drums also and thats it?

I would like to think the drums on even the LD 3/4 ton are going to be larger than the half ton....... so, with the correct drums, and backing plates, just put 'em back together with the LD 3/4 ton rear brakes, and you should be golden.
Im starting to think that throwing a D60 or D70 in the back would be just that much easier because i dont know how available these parts are
