In a pinch, you can also make a small flat blade (or "common") screwdriver work in there as well. They aren't supposed be very tight, just snug.

I don't think it's fuel going of the info that it runs normally otherwise. My old 97 Ram did the same thing twice though. IAC fixed it, the other time it happened on it was corroded battery terminals, of all things. You could try cleaning them if they are corroded. Someone else suggested the TPS but I don't think that would do it. At idle the throttle plate is closed and the TPS is sending base reference voltage to the ECM. Did you clean the passage in the TB before installing the IAC? Carbon buildup will block that passageway off and cause the issue.

Yep, cleaned it out before putting new one in, will check battery connection.

Just cleaned battery connections, they had a bit of buildup on them so hopefully that helps, will update later.

Could it be an oxygen sensor or something?

Could be an oxygen sensor, but usually they'll show other symptoms at idle, not just random shut downs.

How old is the battery?

On the dodges, it might. Yep, our trucks are just odd. A weak battery will give you performance issues. Easy enough to test though, just drive to your local neighborhood parts store, and have them test the battery, and the charging system. (and the starter too, if you are concerned.)
