sway bar shouldnt really have anything to do with death wobble. did you get it aligned after you put the lift on?

Hey,
No I didnt get it aligned, when I got done wit hthe lifting the truck sat ibn my drive a few days and I drove it to work and hit a bump and it showed up again. I came to work talked to the one tech ( I work at a GM dealership) and hes into Jeeps and off roading and he said he would throw it on the alignment rack later today and look. After all my looking and reading it seems to be pointing towards the Caster out of wack. My question is should I have him set it at 5.25 on both sides? But then again he may know where to set it since he had the same prob with his Jeep but I didnt know if I shouls just have him set it to the 5.25 because thats all im reading

Well I searched and searched and I couldnt find the article that said to put them at 5* so im just gonna say I lied about it lol.. But I got it adjusted lastnight I was stuck at work until 8pm lastnight doing it the bolts were rusted in place and the bushings wanted to tear when we turned the bolts. But we were only able ot get the caster aligned to LF:2.9* and RF:2.0*. I went over the same bump this morning I did yesterday around the same speed and I didnt get teh DW.. I also found a write up of the new setup for the T conversion but thats $500 im not sure if id like to throw that much for a new setup but it seems to be a little better. Oh yeah also on my lunch break I installed my Hypertech tuning software im sure I wont notice a difference but hey what can ya do? LOL

T conversion?

How do you like the way it drives now? Does the truck want to go straighter down the road, and not wander every which way? Does it self-center better??

Yep. I do believe the kits will bolt right on. Call 'em and ask, I bet the answer is "yes".
