seems to go in and out of od on highway speeds but if im below 55 it will not hav a problem also it only happens first 10 min of seeing the freeway not right when i get on but like 3 min after.then after awhile prob goes away no codes with ob2 really starting to **** me off also was having rpm flucts about 100 to 200 increasements 10,000 miles on a new rebuild straight out of mopar factory.

Sounds more like TCC than O/D..... check connections first.

Actually, if it is still under warranty.... take it in to where you had it installed.

I agree with HeyYou on this one. Kinda sounds like the truck is engaging and disengaging the Torque Converter lockup if it only varies a few hundred rpms.

This is typical of a failing Throttle Positioning Sensor. About $35 to fix.

I've had similar problems, irratic shifts into O/D and torque converter in and out of lockup. turned out to be the brake light switch out of adjustment. if the switch is out of adjustment it will kick you out of T/C lock up and out of O/D. The switch on my 96 2500 has a serrated tooth switch pin just depress the brake pedal and pull the pin out and release the pedal. Accidentaly lifting up the brake pedal or a worn bushing on the pedal pivot pin can cause this to happen .

there is a chance your transmission is overheating, maybe debris of the new internals plugging the filter or something else
