So I got the new trans in. Motor runs, but does not run right.. sits at idel at 600 and fluxs to 750ish and back and forth.

In park, hit the gas, floored seems like rev limiyer at like 3k

If I hit gas to much while driving, seems it back fires..

Did you smack up the crank sensor when installing the trans? Might wanna have a look at it.

Give incorrect readings..... or, work intermittently, or, stop working altogether..... I would suggest at the very least pulling it out, and having a look. Damaging the sensor is really common when pulling the engine or trans with it still in place.

I'm pretty sure I may have bent that.. but also i may have bent or scratched the flex plate holds, I was tightening the flex plate bolts by wedging a screw driver in those holes

I don't think you can damage the holes that much, so as to be unreadable..... Tweaking the sensor however, WILL cause ya some trouble.
