shock problems, and should I get a lift or 2500 springs?
I have a two-fold question: First, I paid over $200 for a set of Monroe Gas-a-matic shocks, and the ride is bouncier than ever. Wheel hop is off the scale, too. Did I get the run-around?
Question two: I want to fit 37" tires on my truck. I can get a lift kit, of course, but I noticed a 2500 could fit 35" tires stock. I can get a lift kit for around $1,000 or new springs for $500, but do I need longer control arms as well? What do you think? Thanks!!

Don't want to be the board D-bag here, but 37 inch tires on a 1500 is going to require new axles front and back to do it right. The max for the stock axles is arguably 35. 2500 springs will give you about an inch maybe two if you get good ones that aren't sagging. General rule for lifting our trucks is an inch of lift for every inch of tire over stock. Also, new control arms are needed for anything over 2 inches of lift unless you want the front axle riding in the cab.
you'd have to do a gear swap also, alot of people have there own opinion, im running 33's with 4:56 and i love the setup now but i want more lift as well i got the lift but i dont have the money for new 35's so i havent installed it yet. 4:56's with 35 will put you back around stock gearing.
