Default my 1995 dodge 1500 4x4 dont work

i have a 1995 ram 1500 4x4 and when i bought it the 4x4 didnt work so i replaces the actuator on the front axle and replaced the vacuse selonide on top of the t case and replaces all the vacume lines. 4 low works but when i put it in 4 hi and turn the weels all the way the truck will roll for about 2 feet and then come to a stop like something is binding up. could it be both front u joints?

This is normal operation, and your 4h IS working.

you cannot make sharp turns in 4x4, the driveline will bind unless you are on a slippery surface.

NEVER USE 4X4 ON PAVED ROADS.

U-joints would be a problem even in 2wd.

What surface are you driving on?
