So, check connections at the rear sensor, and if it looks clean and tight, replace the sensor. Common problem on these trucks.

Hey, if you buy a used vehicle, expect to have to put a bit of cash into it. (Unless you pay a LOT more for it, and it comes with a warranty.......) I always figger around a grand in repairs when I buy something...... I have been wrong on that a couple times..... in a good way...... and didn't have to spend that much.... of course, I have been wrong a time or two the other way as well...... It's a crap shoot. At least the sensor is pretty cheap.

Yeah, differences between 2 and 4 wheel drive, weight rating, phase of the moon..... best bet would be to give the local parts store a shout, tell 'em what ya got, and let them pick out the right one..... Not sure how good the bwd sensors are.... (as that is the only brand they show when I looked....) might also wanna check the price of a dealer part. If the difference isn't too outrageous, go with the dealer part.

LOL. Self fixing problems? Works for me.

You only have one sensor in the rear.
