Grab it and wiggle it back and forth while pulling on it.

Ok guys I'm having the same problem but it got worse. Now all the warning lights come on and all of the gauges stop working and I get a no bus message where the mileage is . This will happen then will go away a few minutes later. I didn't get the speed sensor changed because I got sick the day I was changing it with food poisoning.

Its all of that related to the rear speed sensor?

No....

I if you don't have a ground wire problem some where, I'd say the PCM is shot.

Won't a pcm throw a code when it goes bad? I took it to advance and there are no codes at all. I think I'm going to have to take it to my mechanic tomorrow

Usually, but like I said, could be a bad ground ,dirty connector or damaged wire. As long as you trust the mechanic and don't get ripped off. Hooking it up to a good scanner by your mechanic is probably your best option right now.
