HeyYou is right, the timing cover doesn't want to co-operate because it has to have a tight fit to seal the front of the oil pan, it really helps, when you do this yourself you will see why

From what I can tell and the research I did BIGRED i would say no. Again I cant stress enough get the manual from this thread:

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...tmas-guys.html

eventhough its not EXACTLY the same as ours it is very close and will give you an idea on replacing timing chain and pump. Please post pics when you do this and ill do the same maybe we can make a timing chain water pump DYI thread afterwards. Ill be glad to help. Again good luck buddy DodgeForums is here for you (or atleast HeyYou :P )

Nope, getting the fan off can be fun, but, take the fan, and radiator shroud out at the same time, and there is a LOT of room there.

ok so its done. it was a pain in the *** and i forgot my camera. sorry couldnt get pics. i started around 11am this morning and got home around 8:15 pm ended up needing a new water inlet tube and once i had it took five minutes to get running. its running great but honestly i cant really tell a difference between the old timing chain and the new double roller.
