did your timing chain have alot of slack in it? Im at 202k am im sure my timing chain will have some slack. Hows it running now? Yeah i have the haynes manual and its BS. tell me to remove my control arm and bring it in to dealer to have balljoints removed and pressed in HA! Ball joint press from pepboys will do just fine. Then i got the service manual much better.

k so its been about 8 days since i pulled the tb and cleaned everything, took her out on her first "long" trip.......(about 60 miles round trip) and she did just fine. tranny felt smooth, i now have alot less vibration at higher speeds, and she didnt even kick down to make it up the hills on the freeway. thanks everyone for all your knowledge and help!!!! now i need to put some money into the suspension and steering and she'll be golden again.
