Default Bogs until 3K RPM

So my truck still hesitates until I hit 3,000 rpm. It's gotten incrementally better with everything I've done but something is still not quite right.

Things done: plenum fix, wires, cap & rotor, plugs, O2 sensors.

Things not working: speed sensor

Things I'm going to check next are probably fuel pressure and vacuum.

I doubt it's the cat since it gets better after 2,800-3,000 RPMs. One I hit that range the power is instantly there.

So, sound like a plan to you guys? I'm just kinda throwing things out there.

Thanks!

Have you checked your throttle valve cable? Also have you replaced your timing chain and sprockets?

Timing kit is actually on my todo list since my water pump is leaking. Didn't even think that would cause it. Throttle cable looks good. Maybe TPS though. I should look at that too I suppose.

Thanks!

Yeah, definitely take a look at TPS. Also, have you fixed your plenum? Mine was definitely down on power when mine was bad, hitting 3K rpm was like flipping the nitrous switch. Major power difference.

Timing chain and gears also made a great difference in the way the truck ran.

Yeah, plenum is fixed and looks good so far. I also need to replace the PCV Valve for good measure.
