Have to push gas pedal to start?..how to fix

Try checking the basics first? Maybe a small animal crawled into the engine bay since it was sitting for scuh a long time and knocked a vacuum line loose? That would more than likely cause it to start weak and then die but stay alive if you kept giving it some gas.

i was also reading another guys post about him saying that the alternator even though testing good could still be bad..... i also tried to "reset" the pcm by taking off the neg battery cable and holding the ignition in the start position for 30 secs and then re attaching the neg battery cable......that did nothing.. where would pcm be located?
