Default grinding/clunking noise when accelerating

I have a 97 dodge ram pick up. when accelerating ,usually light acceleration, it makes a grinding/clunking noise right under the cab more towards the passenger side i think. When this happens acceleration cuts out. I let off the gas and press it again its everything is fine. this happens about once every time its on the road. it has had transmission problems the transmission was replaced over a year ago with a rebuilt one. if someone can give me some feedback on possible problems it would be much appreciated.

Grab a hold of your driveshaft where it plugs into the transfer case. (rear driveshaft) Give it a shake. If it moves, need to drop the shaft, remove the tailshaft housing, and see if your snap-ring that holds things in place fell off......

It is fwd and it happens randomly but not that often. I twisted the drive shaft back and forth there's no play in it I didn't pull on it though. My friend said it could also be the tranny mount

Default clunking also, hesitation in driving

I have just started having a similar sound coming from my engine area. Almost sounds like I ran over a big chunk of snow/ice, which is what I thought it was since it's nice and snowy/cold here now. When I accelerate I get clunk sounds like something hitting metal almost. Also having hesitation while driving. Feels like it's not getting gas or something. On a side note, my interior light, radio, mirrors, diagnostic plug-in and battery gauge have shorted out somehow. None of the fuses are bad. This is in a 2000 ram 1500 quad cab 4wd. The issues have been mounting up, but now I'm afraid it will just stop running. Cash flow has been a problem which is why I haven't brought it in, and I'm' not happy with my last repair shop's services, so I've just been trying to feel it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
