Default NAPA A/Trsax Speed Sensor

Are these okay? Quality up to snuff with these units? I'm going to replace mine probably this week and figured just under $20 and Napa didn't seem too bad. Also, one version is plastic, the other looks like steel. Which one would you suggest?

Thanks!

For 20 bucks, give it a shot. Go for the better built unit.....

Awesome, thanks!

This is the unit I'm looking at which is actually not a Napa part:

Regardless of what it shows, the speed sensor is an off white color. Kind of yellowish...and plastic.

So when I take that sucker out, how much trans fluid is going to cover me?

So how normal is it to have metal shavings on the trans output speed sensor?

Edit: Holy crap did that make a difference in the shifting. My CEL didn't come back on and it has power! It's almost like the tranny didn't know when to lock up or what RPMs it needed to shift at. Getting to 60 never happened so quick!
