Default opinion question...which shoes look better?

How goes it all. After running an ifs lift for a few month it became clear to me that I was not gonna be happy with the look, height, or ride that was gonna be possible with my heavy truck on ifs. So there was one clear option, sas time. I found a dana 44 with 8lug outers and snatched it up. I am runnin the bare housing right now, might go 4x4 at some point but for now I am happy with all of it.

I got some 20s with 35s on er now since I ran the 37s bald.

Not sure I like the look of the 20s on there. But I might go up to 42s. Anyways here are the pics, before and after.

Just wondering what y'all thought about the shoes, 42s on the 20s or new tires for the 17s. Prob 40s or 42s. Just looking for input, don't give me crap about chevy running gear, or the lifted 2wd.

I don't really care for the look of the 20's either. The other looks better IMHO.

I think the first one is better.
Are you sure 40-42" tires will fit?

Leave the 20's on there, and ship the other set of wheels/tires to me......

i think what i am gonna do is save my pennies, and get the 40s for the 17s. i got the 20s in exchange for some bodywork that took me about an hour.

i will run whats on there for a few months and see if i can get ahold of something reasonable off of craigslist or something, if not then just bite the bullett and get some new ones.

i really liked the chrome wheels, and the offest. just looked meaner. i love the height and ride quality now though. much improved there

I like the first pic too. How come your front and rear axles look like they are not centered?

Zman u r right, my axles are not centered because I did a shackle flip in back, that pushed the rearend down and forward. Kept my pinion angle perfect tho.

Front axle, well I did not think my truck would flatten those leaves as much as they did. I am about to push the front hangars forward 4.5 inches to center the front end.

I need to extend a buncha **** out back then I can bring the rear up about 4 more and level her out. The look of the big wheels has grown on me, I am gonna just ****** up some chrome 20s with 40s with an offset like the 17s had, then shell look nasty.

For now I am gonna paint the 20s gloss black and the inserts red. I think that'll look tight.
