Headlight/HID suggestions
Hey I have been looking to get a HID kit for the truck, I tried searching but HID is too short to search for. I was just wondering if any of y'all are running HIDs and if so could you possibly recommend a decent kit for Dodges.
It is highly recommended to get some projector headlights (or another design with a decent light cut-off) designed for HIDs before you buy the actual HID kits themselves. Otherwise you will blind oncoming traffic.
Got any pics of the light output from the drivers seat? Id like to are how well aftermarket halos project with hids
The brightest lights are at 4200-5000k. Once you go on to 6k+ the lights don't get any brighter just blue. The higher the temp the less visible lumens. I like 6k because they are a white with just a little tint of blue.

i would get the 50w ballast due to more light. and the thin or regular is just a matter of storing the ballast somewhere..
Heres my suggestion,
Look at DDM tuning for kits there cheap and have lifetime warranties.... have there sets installed and havent had a problem
35w is plenty of light for lows, 50w is really pushing your limits and will blind other drivers. Now the 50w are great for you high beams if your running a single bulb this wont matter
Projector lights will help out other drivers and keep you from gettin a ticket, but they take some time to get used to, alot of your newer sport cars have gone to them and there is a reason why.
Color if your looking for light output go for 4500/5000
you want a hint of blue 6000
anything more than that can get you in trouble and has less output
