Don't wreck the truck.

Gonna have to take it somewhere to have the codes read. Parts store code readers won't cut it.

the other day i was going down a really old and rough road and my abs and air bag light came on, then i lost my tach,
tapped on the cluster and everything started working again and the lights went off.
me and my passenger were scarred the airbag would get triggered and go off!

it happened to a friend of mine with a ford ranger, he hit a pot hole at night going like 35 and both his airbags blew out! his insurance considered it totaled with no body damage

Did this ever get fixed? I have an airbag light on in my 95, and i don't like lights. mine goes on and off, but usually stays once when the truck is warmed up.

Nope my air bag light still comes on, but only on really hot days and after I hit a bump.

Theres probably a short somewhere in the system.
