My gauge pannel is ghetto. The two center big ones are my MPH and my....gas... I want my rpms on there.. If I go to a junkyard, will it fit mine?

The mileage will be whatever is on the "new" gauges. Mileage stays with a gauge cluster

You need a cluster from a 98 or newer trucks. (stay as close as you can to your year.) It's a direct swap.

And don't throw away the old one, in case you sell the truck. This way it will have the correct mileage. (for legal reasons)

Better plan might be to cruise up to the DMV, and get a 'speedo replaced' decal. That way, everything stays nice and legal.

Wonder if the dealership can reprogram the mileage? Seems to me, that is something they have probably had to do at least once or twice...... Might be something to check into as well.

One problem though, unless the pcm recognizes the original cluster somehow, mileage will still be off by the amount of time it was not installed. Oh well, I didn't think that one through enough! LOL I still wouldn't throw it away .
