Default ScanGauge II

So I have the Scangauge 2, and I had a quick question. Does anyone know how you can make the AVG MPG reading read out for the whole tank? Its kinda annoying that when the truck shuts off and I restart it, my avg mpg resets to 0. I would like to see my avg mpg for the tank ( or for the past 100 miles would be even better) on the gauge panel, as well as the instantaneous read out. Does anyone have an idea how to do that? Thanks in advance.

Just a warning. It could just be mine. After having it for 6 months I started having an issue where if my truck sat for more than about a day and a half my battery would be dead or almost dead. After doing some testing of unplugging some things like my remote start, etc. I found my drain to be my Scanguage. I'm not sure whats up with it but I keep mine unplugged if I know I'm going to be parked for more than a day.

I haven't had this problem yet, but I had a different one. The gauge would just randomly stop working while driving. It would freeze up and get no readings. Turned out I had to set the update rate to FAST for it to work...it wouldnt stay on while I was driving on normal
