I've posted a few times about help for my truck and have read through other user's post's about their issues with various model trucks.

I've read a few in particular about lack of power and poor fuel economy.

I'd just like to say that I have a 2001 Ram 4x2 360V8 with a rebuilt tranny and it's great, even though I've had a few issues with it.

I get rather good mileage (not sure about a number) and plenty of power to boot.

Went down to the river a few days ago, went muddin through some pretty deep holes, pulled out another older ram with a boat/trailer stuck in the sand, and pulled a new model F250 Diesel out of a rather deep ditch, all with 2 wheel drive.

I'm happy with my Ram!

 

If properly maintained these trucks last and keep their published power numbers. It's plenum issues and lack of oil changes and maintenance from previous owners that cause most of the problems.
