keeps my engine cooler, just like its supposed to. other than that.. lol

the engine runs a lil cooler which makes it a lil peppier . had mine for 5 years now and still hot for in the winter

I've heard that running cooler t-stats is bad unless you have the internals to go with them. The engines were designed with a specific operating temp in mind and the metals expand correctly at that temp. Running cooler means the metals don't fully expand which I guess could cause piston slap and leaks down the road.

No problems with running a 180 thermo.

A 150/160 will most likely throw a code though

bypass hose goes between the water pump and the intake manifold its a b^tch to get to unless you have either parts off, so its a great time to get a new one because they crack over time and if it hasnt it will soon.
