Default 46 RH Tansmission Upgrades

I ordered my tranny temp sensor the other day and decided I should go with a deep pan and adjust the bands and stuff while I'm down there. My question is what if any sensors should I I replace I have a kinda hard 2-3 up shift but nothing big. Thanks. O 1994 1500 4x4 Tow Package.

If you were feelin' really froggy, you could install the Sonax Sure Cure, it addresses some of the issues these trannys have with sloppy shifting.

Aside from that, if TCC, and O/D are working correctly, that's about it for electronics in yours.

Check TV cable adjustment while you are at it.

Yah that sonax cure looks a little too much for me... I did all of the stuff im doing to this transmission to my 727 a year ago and didn'nt seem to bad, but actually going into a tranny seems pretty bad to me, for now at least. I have a little of money to help things go smoother, but not enough money to rebuild if they go wrong...:/ OR if they break, can you buy a new valve body for an RH or do you have to tear apart an old one?

THe sonax kit just replaces some valves and springs in the valve body, and I think you drill one hole as well, so the T/C gets fluid, even in park. (which strikes me as a VERY good plan......) If you pay attention to what you are doing, it really isn't too bad of a job. I believe there are write ups available for the process as well.

Oh my bad. If these are essentially 727 transmissions... will a tranny pan from a 727 work? there like 100$ cheaper but w/o the temperature port...
