i hate the sound of that style racing mufflers. they're loud and obnoxious and have no good tones to them at all. i have dual 23" thrush mufflers, and IMHO i think they sound 20 times better than the super 40 that i had before. they have the same deep tones that your looking for but a little louder, i would definitely delete or gut the cat though!
