stacks on a 360
you can flame me if you want but im just posing the question. im only asking because where i go play my exhaust is always submergerd quite a bit. im wondering what yall think about doin stacks on a gas 360 and how would i have to set it up for minimal preformace losses
the only way to pull it off in my opinion, is to go "Lil' Red Truck" style with the stacks at the cab/bed junction.. that would look pretty dang good on your rig because yours is red.. you'd get a lot of thumbs up from the old school.. and you may as well go ahead and run some stained and sealed boards from stake to stake on top of your bed.. with " Lil Red Truck" branded in the center of it of course..
lol i was actually thinkin something like that but in sept my paint is gonna get redone where the grey down is gettin bedlined black and from the hoodline up is gettin the same. and the red in the middle is turning fire engine red. id have to cut into the bed since theres not a hole lot of room between the cab and bed
this is what it will look like with chrome stacks in the bed.

I'm not a fan of stacks on gassers..but I can see your point on submergence and prefer black to chrome. SInce your exhaust is off past the cat, that's like the lowest point on your truck. Anything to an outside point past your rear axle would help.
You'll sure have to weld the stack(s) tight, and if any water gets down in them...oops. Perhaps you'll want to install a one way drain valve somewhere.
Lastly...as an old fool from the old skool... unless you have a red Dodge stepside truck from the late 70's or early 80's....do not build a Lil' Red Wagon Ram. It will not be admired.
EDIT: Since you're concerned about performance, don't run monster pipes. That's for the diesel boys. 3 inch diameter is plenty, 3.5 if looks is more of a concern. Maybe one 3.5 short stack off the cat through the bed. You'' need a clamp/hanger made from flatstock bolted to the front bed rail and don't use sheet metal screws. Use blind nuts or rivet nuts. If you isolate the clamp with some trimmed down shock bushings you'll reduce vibration through the cab and bed and allow for some movement in the exhaust.
Oh...post some pics of how your CB antennas are mounted sometime.
And post pics of your stack!

duly noted and currently my exhaust dumps directly out of the shell of a cat, how bad would it affect proformace if i went to a 4in set up like in the video or maybe a 2.5 to the y then bump to the 4 inch stacks, or a dual set up with 2.5 to the 4 in stacks
stacks wont go on till september, and im askin bout proformace because i cant seem to fin 3 or 3.5 inch stacks any where but summit and the oly sell 36 in lenghts
what would be the best muffler if any to go with it to have a deep rumble thats loud but not to loud
