Default Aftermarket transmission cooler location

I am going to order up and put on a transmission cooler this week. My question is there is a nice big hole on the driver side rite behind the grill but the trans lines are on the pass side. Would it be ok to have the rubber lines that long or should I mount it on the pass side?
Anyone have any pictures of there install? THANKS

you can run rubber lines as long as you want as long as they are tranny fluid compatible

What direction does the fluid travel? Into the bottom of radiator and out the top? Or in the top and out the bottom?

In at the top, out at the bottom.

My '01 is just the opposite, it goes in the bottom and out the top. Just thought I'd share that since I just put a aftermarket trans cooler on my truck last week. I removed the lines to verify flow. I installed mine more in the center of the condenser, so that it can get as much of the air pulled through from the engine fan as possible. That way when sitting in traffic, the engine fan can pull some air through it to keep cool till the truck gets rolling again.
