4x4 low quesion or does our limited slip suck?

Just for clarification, you can't drive in 4-hi UNLESS its a full time case (like the NP242 or alike). If its 4-hi-part you can't/shouldn't drive it on dry concrete because it locks the center diff (aka in the transfercase now the axles) which would cause the front to shudder on dry pavement, just like 4-lo would.

So only drive in 4-hi IF its a full time and NOT part time.

All limited slips suck, there's a reason they have "slip" in the name.

This and it locks itself. Well most of them do anyway, it will lock itself to give 50/50 power to the front and back all the time, not just a lower gear. Altho as i said some of the older cases dont lock
