I just put everything back together after fixing the plenum gasket, I started it up and it ran great for a few minutes, I shut it off to load up a bunch of junk to take to the dump, and no it won't start. I had changed the cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Theres spark off the coil, and I can hear the fuel pump running, and there seems to be good pressure at the port. I cleaned the grounds on the engine, checked all the wiring that I had apart, and still nothing. It never stumbled or stalled or anything prior to the plenum fix. Ideas?
Thanks!
Cam sensor looks good, wires were not pinched. I don't understand how I can have spark off the coil, but not through the dizzy? The cap and rotor are exactly like the old ones, I'd try the old one again, but it cracked while taking the old plug wires off.
Both cap and rotor are Standard. Thats what my local shop gets. I've used them before on various vehicals, and have never had trouble. Maybe I'll try the old one again, its cracked around one post, and it's loose a wee bit, but it should still get something through to the other cylinders.
