Lost injector driver?
did you probe the injector plug, and then further down the matching wire? Maybe it's just a bad connection within the plug. There are companies that sell new and better plug clips.
I bought new clips on pigtails pre wired from ballenger motorsports when I broke several clips swapping intake manifolds. They just get really brittle from the engine heat.

Thanks to all for your responses. I've traced every wire, continuitied every wire, tested relays, fuses, and cannot find a short or open circuit. I cannot get any voltage reading at the injector plug, yet both wires are intact (no short). I just can't get any power reading using my DVOM at the injector plug. So I'm guessing the PCM has "lost the injector" and does not recognize it. Final question is
1. Iff a flash would re-install the injector or do I need the PCM to be reprogramed.
2. If flashing/reprogramming will not work then I'm gusying I will need a new/refurbished PCM.

I may be having a massive brain fart here, but doesn't a vdc system REQUIRE a solid ground to carry a consistent 12vdc signal? those connectors are notoriously fickle.. if it is not grounding good, (which is sometimes difficult to establish using a simple continuity test), it isn't going to operate in the range expected.
which connectors do you have? I know there is a difference, but I don't know when the change took place.

If you aren't getting power TO the injector, that needs to be fixed first. Injectors get power from the ASD relay, so, if the engine ain't runnin', you will only have power there for about three seconds after you turn the key on. If you test while its running, and STILL don't get power there, something is awry. All injectors draw power from a common source, if that one doesn't get power, then the wire must be broken somewhere.
1998 RAM.
OLD thread...same problem with the same #6 injector.
I understand the injector gets power from the ASD relay, do all the orange/green wires have a junction place or do they all run back separately to the ASD?
Fixing a mouse created issue here, all other injectors fire the noid light, I'm getting the P0206 code.
EDIT: Injector is getting power, Color coded wire is good to the PCM...I'm guessing the PCM is toast.
Great...Where to get a new PCM?

Try Solo PCM. Or, talk to your local neighborhood parts store. I prefer to deal local for these, as if there is a problem, exchange is MUCH easier, and quicker. Usually only a day or two, instead of a week or more having to ship it out, and wait for something to come back.
