Default super quick SCT tuner question

what will happen if you run the tuner on "93 octane" or whatever when you have just regular unleaded gas? excited to get this in

Might run into some spark knock. You can go to the parts store, and pick up some octane booster if you still have a fair bit of gas in the tank, if you are under half, just fill 'er up with premium.

At least most of yall can still buy 93 octane! We here in CA can only get 92 at best. Not that it really matters too much, you can't really do much with the car to juice it up with all the smog regulations here.

I hope you aren't running 83 octane gas. Thats really low.

Up here in SD/MN/WI/IA, there is no 93 octane either. Highest I've seen is 92 around my area. Once in a great while you find a 93, but it usually has 10% or 20% ethanol, which negates the octane slightly anyway.
