Default lift my ram?

How's it going? I was hoping anyone out there with a little more knowlege can help me. I'm kind of new to owning a dodge but i must say it's a great truck. My question is i just recently bought a 2000 ram 5.9Ltr 2WD 1/2 ton and i want to lift it, but for cheap. It's basically going to be for looks seeing that it's only 2wheel drive anyway, though sometimes i do take moderate dirt trails. I'm trying to stick with a new spindle kit and have one in mind unless someone else has a better suggestion. right now i'm looking at the fabtech 3.5" spindle lift. it's about $680 but i think i can find cheaper with your help. I want to stay at least a 3.5" lift but will definately go bigger if the price is good. can anyone help? thanks a lot.

Maybe just 3" spacers and aal in the rear it would be a lot cheaper but only 3" lift. If not check out Skyjacker kits they make some good kits. I haven't heard that great of things about Rough Country so not sure if I would go with them or not.

I have heard that they ride rough check out pavementsucks.com that is where I heard bad things about them. A few people have also said the kits came with quality issues.

A Skyjacker kit isn't a decent kit why? I have heard nothing but good about the quality of the Skyjacker kits. Only complaint I have ever heard is that their customer support isn't the best but who's is nowadays. I would just get spacers and a AAL though. Rancho or Daystar but make spacers I'm sure a lot of other comanys do also.

Skyjacker is also the kinko f saggy springs that dont hold up, I only say this as I have owned 3 of their kits and installed many more....they just simply dont offer a consistant spring.....
