I was looking at Autozone

But both say "Not with Sport Appearance Package" anyone know why that would be for a muffler?

Never mind think I got it according to Walkers Website I think its referring to the SS/T Sport Exhaust.

Thanks for all the replies.

I got under the truck and it appears that the front of the muffler is welded on to the intermediate pipe (or maybe rusted on and clamp is gone?) and the back is clamped to the tail pipe. The intermediate pipe and the tail pipe are solid, but rusted and pitted looking (is this really stainless steel?)

So, I am still on the fence on whether to replace all from the cat back or if I should try to fit in a muffler and work with the existing pipes.

The oem muffler seems to be $285 which is way too much.

It's stainless, but even stainless won't hold up forever against road salt.

Just replace the muffler with an aftermarket free flowing unit, and an extra section of pipe. Cut off the old muffler.......

Thanks again.

Yes, you are right the pipes are stainless (magnetic though), and despite their appearance, they are fine.

I decided on a walker quiet flow for a cheap quick solution. It looks and sounds like the factory muffler. If it lasts 11 years like the original, I will be very happy!
