Kinda sorta what's already been said, but a bit different: Get yourself a can of CRC FreezeOff and a butane torch. Disconnect the harness so there's no danger of melting it, heat the sensor bung until it's quite hot, then blast it with a ten to fifteen second shot of FreezeOff. Then take the sensor wrench to it.

You might find that it's rusted clear to hell. If so, tap the wrench around carefully with a hammer, near the sensor rather than out at the long end. After if moves a bit, turn it back in, then back out again, and if it hangs up do the tapping/in/out thing at the sticky spots. If it hangs up badly, repeat the torch/FreezeOff trick.

This method works on most stuck things most of the time. Just don't vent frustration on the part -- slow and steady gets the job done.

^^ I went through that with my Cavalier but didn't know of using the freeze off. I heated it thoroughly and removed it. The threads on the sensor were flattened upon removal, but the good news is the threads on the bung were OK. I installed the new sensor with Anti-Seize on the threads.

If the nut part is getting rounded, use a plumbers wrench or a large pair of vise grips. And start the truck and heat the pipe up like I said.
