Also i just found that the vaccum line to my cruise control is busted in half, which could also be the reason my crusie control doesnt come one? I dont know where the vaccum line connects at or I would replace it, it is still connected on the cruise control but about a foot of vaccum line is hanging off the cruise control and thats all there is, it isn't connected to anything where is the vaccum line for the cruise control supposed to run to on my truck? thanks

Do the vents switch from floor to defrost? Or is it only blowing out those to locations, no matter where you put the control?

It blows through both vents no matter where I put the control, I can adjust how hard the air blows from low to high but can not adjust it to blow out the vents.
Thanks

You need to fix the CC vac line that you see is busted first.

I have the same issue on my 01 Ram, the heat and AC only come out of the defrost and floor vents. A tiny little bit will come out of the dash vents.

I checked out hose's as best I can under the hood, don't see anything busted or disconnected. And my cruise does work.

then you either have a broken line in the dash somewhere, or, the control head has taken a dump.

How deep would a tech have to go into the dash to check for broken lines? Reason I ask is my dash is cracked up pretty good, I can't even take off the Instrument Panel Bezel Cover thingy without it breaking apart. I plan on doing a dashskin cover, but if they have to dig deep I'm worried about the dash cracking beyond any repair or covering up.

Having said that I live in South Georgia, so a fully functioning AC unit would be GREAT!!!!

I would start at the control head, and see if you are getting any vacuum there. Follow the lines back at that point.
