Denso would be OK to, but NGK/NTK seems to be the best made. Rock Auto all the way, oxygen sensors are sometimes half as much as they are at auto parts stores. Don't do the universal units, they cause problems themselves sometimes, and don't get Bosch or Standard brand units, both are pretty bad (reliability wise). Get the units designed to fit the OEM plug, much easier to install to.

I realize that this thread is a bit dated but I could really use some help...

I was trolling threads for Info on O2 sensors. I blindly bought a pair of Bosch O2 sensors this morning before I discovered that, seemingly most, V6 & V8 engines don't do too well with
Bosch O2 sensors.

I'm set on NTK O2 sensors but no one local carries them so, Rockauto.com is the site that I'm going with but here's the problem;
rockauto.com says that the 23506 upstream is OK and that checks out with other sites that I've looked up. They also say that the 23099 downstream is compatible with my Dakota but all the other sites say that is does not. So, I'm kinda stuck.

Those of you that run NTK's; do you remember what part number of O2 sensor (FOR BOTH UP & DOWN) that you are running?

I have a manual 1998 Dodge Dakota: 3.9L V6, 4WD, Non-dual exhaust, club-cab. If you need any more Info., please do not hesitate to get a hold of me - any suggestions are welcomed.
