control arm differnces
Radius arms are a tad better, (for off road use, no real difference on-road.) as you are only trying to twist one mount on the frame side. Caster changes thru travel though, but, that isn't much of an issue considering the speeds you are going when you are all twisted up. Putting heim joints, or johnny joints on the frame side will give you more flex, but, at the expense of feeling every little bump. (comes from having semi-solid mounts at the frame.)
i asked about this a whole ago, idk if it was on here or over on pavementsucks. someone said skyjacker used to make a lift kit the had radius arms rather than control arms. the few post there was on it, most people said to stick with control arms, never really got a reason tho...
I have never seen radius arms quite like that before usually a quite bit longer.
What i have heard is that longer radius arms can limit flex, so people that run them in flexing situations will disconnect the upper link on the axle end. Or some will replace one of the upper links with a shock. That is for strictly offroad purposes.

Radius arms actually flex better than the four-link setup. Especially when set up with flex in mind. Folks disconnect sway bars on a regular basis though, as they are specifically designed to limit flex.........
