Default New G2 V10 Owner

Just got this truck today. Been looking for 2 yrs for a clean V10 Laramie QC. Its an 01 2wd auto with 150,000 on the clock. Got it for $4500. Truck was from SoCal and garage kept.

Welcome and nice find! My only complaint would be it being a 2wd but that's personal preference. What you plan on using it for?

Thank you Sir!! .. Truck will mainly used for pleasure, and some light hauling. I did want a 4x4, but I will be moving to back to SoCal next year and really wont need it. LOL!! Trying to find a clean 4x4 around here is impossible. Im in a farming town most 4x4 trucks are beat to crap!! LOL

I figure until then, some nice winter tires, a little sand in the back and chains on the snow days I should be ok. If not I have my Cadillac which is a tank in the snow will pull winter duty. I love the power of this Blue Beast! My back is still sore from the test drive. LOL!!! Thank you!!

That's a really nice truck you got. I wish there was a V10 for sale in my area. I bet that thing puts you in your seat too!

Thank you!! Ya the V10's are getting harder to find. It took almost 2 yrs to find a clean one. You might have better luck on Ebay even though its more of a gamble, there always seems to be one for sale. As far as the torque? LOL, my previous truck was a 97 Nissan Hard Body!! It was basically a car with a truck bed!! I always had that thing floored. With the v10, just a little "Blip" of the gas peddle and I'm pinned back in my seat.

Mpg is 9.9 in town, and 13.5 on the hwy. The Nissan didn't get to much better than that!! I love this truck!! Im glad to be in a Mopar again. Previous Dodge was a 10 yrs ago when I had a 93 Dakota w the 5.2, till I got carried away in some deep water.. Hydro Lock!! You live and learn

Nice find. The mpg aren't that bad either. Never can find any clean 1- ton or 3/4-tons around here. They've all been beat to hell.

Not so sure I like the grille, but nice find, and welcome to DF regardless.

I hate to sound like this but it does seem like a "beaner" grille.

It's the 'jeep envy' grill. More vertical slats than the typical jeep.
