Default Hi yall! New member!

Just bought my first ram. Have had a 95 Dakota for years. My ram is a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 Magnum. I love the truck but im having a coolant problem. I think its the freeze plugs in the back of the engine. I was hoping anyone could tell me what a shop is gonna charge to drop the tranny and replace them. The good news is i bought it used at a dealer and has a 30 day warranty and YOU KNOW im gonna make em fix it! Hope to post here more soon. If anyone knows how to post a picture under your name when you post, i would be greatly be appreciated!

Welcome aboard GiantsNiners99! Stay tuned - a Technician (or member) will jump in shortly to provide a possible solution. In the meantime, don't forget to browse Sub-Forums: Ram for stuff related to your ride.

Very bottom of this thread here:
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-r...s-section.html

That will tell you how to get to your signature, which is where you can put a picture or text that will automatically be attached to every post you make. However, be aware that the Dodge Forum rules limit you to a 500 x 250 pixel image at the largest.

When I was in California, the average hourly cost was around $80 to $100 an hour. I would say at a Minimum of 4 hours of labour, plus cost of fluids, disposal, though the shop I work at includes that in the price AFAIK, I just started there about a week ago. The cost of disposal will be higher in Cali, if you do end up paying to get it done bring your own parts and if they let you your own fluids, as it will help with price.
