i have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 5.9 and it stalled last night and wont start. if i let it sit for a few minutes and try to start it, it will run rough for about 5 seconds then stall again.i checked the fuel rail and i get plenty of fuel,i dont know what it could be??? any suggestions? Thanks ! Steve.
Sounds like a crank sensor problem to me.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you first turn the key?
Could try thumping on the bottom of the gas tank, and see if it starts.
Barring a wild guess, need to put a gauge on it, and see if you have fuel pressure. If that's good, (39PSI or some such on your truck, I think) see if you have spark. If THAT is good, check for injector pulse.... see which one you are missing, and that will point at the bad part.
Suppose process of elimination would work...... check for spark however you care to, I think a noid light for checking for injector pulse would be cheaper than a fuel pressure gauge....
