well i went back to my truck and checked the fuel rail again and got nothing..tried priming the throttle body also and got nothing.so fuel pump? crank sensor?dont know? i cant afford to buy both right now and i dont want to spend money on one if thats not the problem.is there a way to check the two to see?

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you first turn the key?

Could try thumping on the bottom of the gas tank, and see if it starts.

Barring a wild guess, need to put a gauge on it, and see if you have fuel pressure. If that's good, (39PSI or some such on your truck, I think) see if you have spark. If THAT is good, check for injector pulse.... see which one you are missing, and that will point at the bad part.

Suppose process of elimination would work...... check for spark however you care to, I think a noid light for checking for injector pulse would be cheaper than a fuel pressure gauge....
