I always swore AT the engine restore. Rebuilding a motor after the owner had been using that stuff was a drag. It's supposed to 'build up surfaces'.... well. it does. With oil sludge, and other crap. I don't like it, won't use it, and hate it when I have to work on a motor that had it in it. I thank my lucky stars I don't do that for a living any more.

Well, I'm glad this is the first oil change that I used it in because in 2500 more miles, it will be out of my truck and will never be put back in!

Since it's free I would use the fuel additive but I wouldn't use their other products in anything that belonged to someone I don't even like vehicle.

I use Rislone in place of a quart of oil, every oil change for at least the last 35 years.

If you are putting it in the gas, anytime is fine. I wouldn't use it in the oil anytime. But if you are going to, right before oil change.

Yea, and if you want to put something in your oil that works(and does no damage) to clean and keep clean, use the Rislone. It's nothing like STP or Engine Restorer. You can't go wrong using it.
