Yep, add it every time you do your regular interval oil changes.

Well, I thought my truck was still burning oil. 500 miles in, its still a little hard to tell. But when I got up this am to go to work, I popped the hood and checked the oil....was at the same level it was when i changed it. About 2 hours after I got home, I checked again, 50 more miles, and it still hasnt moved. Maybe Engine Restore did its job, because my truck has been running slightly better with improved oil pressure, and its not burning any oil yet.

Good luck with that stuff. It will only be temporary.

I can honestly say the fuel additive works wonders. Saw great results from it when my mom added it to her 88 Aries. I have used the oil stabilizer but not sure it made any difference. I will say when I worked in the shop at the truck stop that truckers love the stuff and some swear by it.

I team engine restore a few years ago and noticed a significant bump in compression and engine performance.

Then I pulled the iengine apart to replace the heads. I found coke in the various nooks and crannies of my engine. Not just sludge, but actual coke. Dried, burnt crust, soaked on outside in oil.

If I only used it for one oil change (and I change every 3000) should I be ok? I dont plan on using it again.

Now imagine what it does to the transmission!

Also, there is only ONE additive I do recommend. A product called SMART BLEND, by Life Automotive. Its good stuff.
