Rock Solid Ram Steering Fix, How good is it?
Came across this on the forums here...: http://www.rocksolidramtrucksteering.com/
Has anyone ever had any luck with this? or can vouch for it doing what it says it does?
I have the clunking in my steering column and lots of play.... for $60 if it does what it says it does it would be an incredible value...
Whats involved in installing it? Is it easy to install for someone like me? Im not the best DIY'er ...I change my own oil and fluids and do my own tuneups....that's the scale of my expertise..lol.
Thanks guys.

You'll need to read the instructions to know if you are comfortable doing it. I believe there is a thread about an install around here, might even be in the DIY section.
A for whether or not out will fix your problem 100%, it depends on if the that worn bushing is truly your problem. It will tighten up the steering.

I've added this to my project list, and ordered it today. Instructions make it seem pretty simple, or as simple as it could be in tight quarters. (wonder if they have a warehouse in Denver! lol)
I think I saw a You Tube video on this also.

The left to right play is the gear box or some other steering component. Need to have a friend saw the wheel back and forth while you look at everything starting at the bottom of the steering column. The rock solid bushing will fix the clunk.
Does anyone happen to have the instructions handy? Or could link to a post that has them somewhere? I cant find anything in the DIY section.

My luck holds true to form. I have the clunk, excessive play, AND leaky gearbox. Shucks, the pump leaks as well. What is one more than a trivecta or hat trick? Afraid to look at ball joins and such - but I will eventually. 160000 and so much to do. Truck was neglected for years.
